I recently just purchased I Hobart 411 meat slicer. I looks as if was painted a couple times over. I was going to scrape to paint off, but wasn't sure if it was the original paint. Also I am looking for someway to polish up the metal if I stip the paint.

Purchased a new power cord and on/off toggle switch for my model 410 Hobart slicer. I visited the store to p/u the parts personally. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I now need a new sharpener assembly, I have no doubt I will be purchasing it from Treasure Coast. Thanks!

Purchased a rear deflector for my vintage 110 after finally finding your web site. So happy to get the restoration under way! Still looking for a meat grip for the carriage assembly though. Will check back often! Thanks again!

I have Hobart model 84142 / serial 1947794. When turned on shaft turns about 1/8 then stops and unit hums, something binding. Turn unit off and rotate shaft back and it does the same. I thank you for the parts break down list and allowing it to be saved. I have searched for some trouble shooting tips but have had no luck so far. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Again I thank you for putting this information out for others.
Best Regards,
Michael Bennage

Hello I have a globe slicing machine 150 that belonged to my father. He had a combination deli/candy store in brooklyn from the late 40's to the early 60's. I would like to sell this machine - anyone interested. The machine survived a fire and I had it totally restored in the 90's. Please contact me at phager12@gmail.com
